Successful contractor must provide proof of required insurance. Quotations must be submitted on the forms provided at the above address and shall be presented in a sealed envelope clearly marked. "Request for Lawn Maintenance Proposals."  FAX or email copies will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to waive all informalities in the bidding process and may reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, for reasons deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City is requesting a three (3) year bid which will coincide with the City’s fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027.

SCOPE OF SERVICES: 
Please read all conditions and specifications. It is the bidder’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with all bid documents. 

The City of Bronson will be accepting bids for lawn maintenance for various City facilities for the next three budget years (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027). The City may elect to award the Cemetery work and the remaining City facilities into separate awards/contracts.  Pricing for the Cemetery work must be priced as a standalone project/contract.

CLOSED- REQUEST FOR LEASE PROPOSALS
CITY OF BRONSON- CEMETERY FARM LAND

The City of Bronson will accept sealed bids for the leasing of approximately 16.5 acres of farmland in the City of Bronson commonly referred to as Cemetery Farm Land. The City of Bronson does not own irrigation equipment currently on the site nor is there a well on site from which water is drawn for irrigation.

The City of Bronson retains the right to develop the site for municipal use. During the term of the lease, the City reserves the right to sell or otherwise develop the land. If such development occurs, the City will provide as much notice as possible to the tenant and will pro-rate lease obligations accordingly. Redevelopment will be coordinated to avoid the removal of planted crops between April 1 and October 15. 

The City is willing to consider agreements for a five year lease period. Payments shall either be made annually or semi-annually. Tenants are obligated to become familiar with and observe all local, state, and federal regulations.

Proposals shall be submitted by 10:30 am on April 5, 2024.  The City of Bronson reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any reason and to seek modifications to the proposals deemed in the best interest of the City of Bronson. A formal lease outlining the details of these specifications will be drafted at that time.
