Planning & Zoning fees can be paid in person by cash, check, credit card, or money order. There is a 3% convenience fee for credit card payments. Payments by check may also be mailed to 141 S. Matteson Street, Bronson, MI 49028, clearly indicate the permit address in your mailing.
Optional Sketch Plan Review:
Preliminary sketches of proposed site and development plans may be submitted for review to the Planning Commission prior to final approval.

On March 14, 2016 the City Council approved the final Development and Tax Increment Financing Plan for the City of Bronson's Downtown. Click here to view DDA-TIF Plan.
Parks and Recreation Master Plan:
On January 10, 2022, the City Council approved an updated Five Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The plan will guide future decision making for City parks and will allow the City to apply for Michigan Department of Natural Resources grant funding.

Optional Sketch Plan Review:
Preliminary sketches of proposed site and development plans may be submitted for review to the Planning Commission prior to final approval.
The purpose of the procedure is to allow discussion between an owner and the Planning Commission to better inform the owner of the acceptability of their proposed plans prior to incurring extensive engineering and other costs which might be necessary for final site plan approval.
The sketch plans shall include the following:
(a) The name and address of the applicant or developer, including the names and addresses of any officers of a corporation or partners of a partnership;
(b) A legal description of the property; and
(c) Sketch drawings showing tentative site and development plans. The Planning Commission shall not be bound by a tentative approval given at this time.
